We are looking for a high-energy, driven professional with sound business acumen and natural sales instincts to join our organization as a Business Development Manager. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to experience a startup within an innovative brand, design and development agency.

Can you generate new business to drive growth and revenue for Bang Pound Dot? We believe that entails responsibility for identifying and qualifying sales opportunities, filtering through leads quickly and accurately qualifying them for being a BPD client. You find joy in building relationships with people and ensure they know all the resources BPD offers. This position lays the foundation for a successful sales career along with a clear path to growth within the Bang Pound Dot organization.

You also must like food and wine.


  • Work closely and be in constant communication with the BPD founder and principal
  • Conduct high level conversation with senior executives and key stakeholders in prospect accounts
  • Research and build new and existing accounts (i.e. adding contacts, strategic emails and phone calls, schedule meetings)
  • Engage in lead generation activities
  • Create and prioritize strategic target accounts
  • Conduct lead evaluation to determine if a qualified opportunity exists
  • Review, prioritize and respond to all leads in a timely manner
  • Coordinate and lead demonstration of the BPD services with clients
  • Understand the client’s problem and be able to articulate a BPD solution
  • Convert leads into clients
  • Attend events and interact with clients at events


  • Successful experience and track record in selection and development of clients and accounts
  • Understanding of branding and ability to articulate it
  • Ability to manage and/or collaborate with team members
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and timelines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • CRM experience
  • Motivation, drive and self-starting attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem analysis and problem solving skills
  • Generate and explain detailed proposals, guidelines and procedures
  • Has tradeshow participation and works with others to ensure a consistent brand message is delivered
  • Food, beverage and/or wine industry knowledge and connections
